What does the monthly membership include?

The monthly membership includes comprehensive primary care services for pediatric and adult patients, covering in-person visits, telemedicine, phone calls, and text/portal messaging. Procedural care is included except for the cost of supplies, with commonly included procedures being skin lesion biopsies and removals, cryotherapy, incision and drainages, select joint injections, and trigger point injections. Costs are transparent to patients before any service is provided.

Do you recommend that I still have insurance?

Yes. Insurance remains critical for unforeseen circumstances such as catastrophic care, hospitalizations, and surgeries.

What about referrals, medications, imaging and labs?

Patients continue to use their insurance for any labs, imaging, and referrals ordered by Dr. Muvvala.

Do you accept my insurance?

No. Arche Health does not accept or bill insurance. The practice operates on a monthly membership fee, which removes insurance and billing constraints so the physician can focus fully on patient care.

Can I use my Flex Spending (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA) card for membership payment?

FSA/HSA accounts may cover monthly membership services starting January 2026, depending on employer plan rules. Patients should confirm eligibility with their accountant, employer, or plan administrator.

What if I decide to cancel my membership?

Members may cancel at any time with 90 days' notice. Membership fees continue during the notice period, during which care is still provided.

Do you share any medical records with insurance carriers or pharmaceutical companies?

No. Arche Health does not share patient information with insurance companies, employers, or any other party unless explicitly requested and authorized by the patient.

Is direct primary care worth it?

For many patients, yes — especially those who value same-day access, longer appointments, and direct communication with their physician. Direct primary care works best alongside insurance, not as a replacement for it: members still use insurance for hospitalizations, specialists, labs, and imaging, while the monthly membership covers unhurried, comprehensive primary care without copays or wait times.
