The monthly membership includes comprehensive primary care services for pediatric and adult patients. Further, the monthly membership costs will include multiple modalities of care including in-person visits, telemedicine, phone calls, text/portal messaging. The cost of procedural care will be included with the monthly membership except for the cost of supplies. Some commonly included procedures will be skin lesion biopsies and removals, cryotherapy, incision and drainages, select joint injections, trigger point injections, and more. The costs of these services will be transparent to patients prior to any services provided.

For Premium Membership: 
When deemed appropriate for both Dr. Muvvala and the patient, a home visit may be provided within the cost of membership. Up to 2 home visits/year in Albuquerque. Additional home-visits will cost $100 per visit. Home visits outside of Albuquerque are $100 per visit + travel time.

You will continue to be able to use your insurance for any orders including labs, imaging and referrals you receive from Dr. Muvvala.

No, Arche Health does not accept or bill insurance. The practice is sustained by a monthly membership fee. We prioritize and serve the patient, without having to focus on the requirements of insurance and billing. By reducing the financial and time restraints of insurance, Dr. Muvvala can commit as much time as is needed to provide comprehensive, efficient and personalized healthcare.

Does your doctor really know you? Does your current relationship with your physician yield a proactive approach to your health?  

The beauty of Arche Health lies in the access to care. When you need a doctor, Dr. Muvvala is available to support and advocate for your healthcare needs.  Dr. Muvvala will strive to provide holistic and evidence-based care that in some circumstances may be much more than what insurance would support.  

FSA/HSA accounts may cover monthly membership services starting January 2026; this may be employer dependent. I recommend you check with your accountant, lawyer and/or employer to verify.

You may cancel your membership at any time. However, please note that we require 90 days’ notice. Membership fees will continue during this period, and we will continue to provide care through the end of that term.

Cash, Checks or Automatic Bank Transfer are the preferred methods of payment. Credit Cards are accepted, but there MAY be an additional transaction fee for card processing.

For many patients, yes,  especially those who value same-day access, longer appointments, and direct communication with their physician. Direct primary care works best alongside insurance, not as a replacement for it: members still use insurance for hospitalizations, specialists, labs, and imaging, while the monthly membership covers unhurried, comprehensive primary care without copays or wait times. It tends to be the strongest fit for people managing chronic conditions, families wanting consistent pediatric and adult care from one physician, or anyone frustrated by 10-minute visits and weeks-long wait times in traditional practices.

Absolutely! Insurance is critical, especially for unforeseen circumstances such as catastrophic care, including hospitalizations and surgeries.  

Privacy is yet another advantage of Direct Primary Care! We do not share any information with insurance, employers or anyone else unless this is requested and authorized by the patient.
